Our Safe Church Committment

Safe Church Policy

Our church is committed to being a place where everyone feels genuinely welcomed, respected, and protected. We believe that safety is foundational to spiritual growth, community life, and belonging. Whether you are a child, young person, or adult, our desire is that every interaction within our ministries happens in an environment that is physically, emotionally, and spiritually safe.

We take our responsibility seriously to care for children, young people, and vulnerable adults. Our practices align with recognised child-safe principles, and we continually review our policies to ensure they reflect best practice. All leaders and volunteers working with children and youth undergo appropriate screening, including holding a current Working with Children Check, and are trained to understand their role in maintaining safe and healthy ministry spaces.

We have clear processes in place for raising concerns and responding appropriately, including engaging relevant authorities when required. Ongoing training and accountability help ensure our church remains a place of trust and integrity for individuals and families.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding safety within our church community, we encourage you to contact our Pastor or our Safe Church team - currently Andrew Reeves. We are always open to listening and committed to acting with care and transparency.
